A clear scope, from the start. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback on the agreed work. Extra pages and new features are scope changes.
Domain registration, hosting, paid plugins, and service subscriptions are separate costs. Complex e-commerce, customer accounts, custom applications, substantial copywriting, and custom integrations need a separate quote.

I’m Kavin Karunagaran, the independent developer behind KKSolve. I build websites for local businesses and organizations in Livermore, the Tri-Valley, and the surrounding East Bay.
I want to understand your business before deciding what your website should look like. You’ll talk directly with me, get straightforward explanations, and know what we’re working toward.

What does a website cost?
Request a quote for Standard or Premier. The price depends on the pages, content support, features, and revisions we agree on.
Third-party costs such as your domain, hosting, paid plugins, and subscriptions are separate. You’ll receive a scope and quote before work starts.
What do I need to provide?
Your business details, services, contact information, logo if you have one, and any text or photos you want to use. Please only supply materials you have permission to use. We’ll identify any gaps together before starting.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the number of pages, features, how ready your content is, and how quickly feedback arrives. I’ll confirm my availability and discuss a realistic timeline with you when we agree on the scope.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes. Send your current website and explain what’s no longer working for you. I’ll review the pages, platform, and access needed before proposing a refresh or rebuild.
Are hosting and the domain included?
No. Domain registration, hosting, paid plugins, and other subscription fees are separate from development. We’ll discuss suitable options and ongoing responsibilities before launch.
What happens after launch?
You can request updates as needed. I’ll confirm the scope, price, and availability before starting. New pages, features, redesigns, and complex changes receive a separate quote.
A defect is a problem with the delivered, agreed functionality; new content or features are new work. Any defect correction period will be confirmed in your written agreement before work starts.
Can I edit the site myself?
It depends on the platform we choose. A custom static website does not include a built-in content editor. If you need to make your own changes, tell me upfront so we can scope a suitable editing setup and any associated costs.
Who owns the domain, accounts, and finished work?
My proposed approach is for you to hold the domain and hosting accounts where practical, with developer access for me as needed. Ownership and transfer of custom deliverables after payment, plus any third-party licenses, must be confirmed in our written agreement before work starts.
